Why the Records Are Split
Pennsylvania release information does not live in one database. Washington County Correctional Facility controls its own custody records and currently withholds individual release data from public view. PA SAVIN can send a county custody-event notice. The Unified Judicial System holds the case trail. Pennsylvania corrections runs a separate search for state inmates and supervised people, while county probation and state parole handle different forms of supervision. Federal prison records belong to BOP, and immigration detention has its own locator. This site organizes those distinct routes without treating one system as a substitute for another.
